Salty Dog Cafe (T.843.952.7335) - Breathtaking waterfront dining, unbelievable sunset views, live music and the freshest seafood combine for an island experience like no other. Open 7 days a week, 11am - 11pm.

Fischer's Sports Pub and Grill (T.843.243.0210) - Features pub fare, with good burgers, patty melts, fish platters, sandwiches, fries, salads, and a casual menu. Has a pool table, golf arcade game, and current sports on the TVs. No reservations. Cheapest hamburger around. A local favorite. Open 7 days a week 11:30 am - 9:00 pm; Bar open LATE each evening.

Freshfields Village

48 Wine Bar and Kitchen (T.843.768.2245) - 48 wines by the glass everyday, local and regional craft beers, as well as a full food menu including appetizers, salads and entrees.
​Open Mon - Thurs 11 am - 9 pm; Fri - Sat 11 am - 10 pm; Sun - 12 pm - 9 pm.

Hege's (T.843.768.2245) - Hege's restaurant serves French-inspired cuisine and cocktails prepared with fresh, seasonal, local products in a casual, warm environment. The bar area is great for grabbing a quick meal. Reservations suggested.

Village Market by Harris Teeter (T.843.243.3276) - Full service grocery store also offering food bars for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as subs, pizza bar, plus many prepared foods, easy to take long with you. Starbucks inside. Open daily 6 am - 9 pm.

Java Java (T.843.243.0222) - Java Java offers Italian-style espresso, gourmet pastries, and wireless internet access - the ideal, independent coffee house. Open daily 7 am - 5 pm.

King Street Grille (T.843.768.5444) - A full-service restaurant and sports bar, with more than 60 menu items. Open daily 11 am - 11 pm.

Ladles Homemade Soups (T.843.243.9881) - Ladles serves soups, sandwiches, and salads made with fresh vegetables, select meats, and quality ingredients. Island guests, Kiawah, Seabrook, and Johns Island soup lovers are invited to enjoy daily specials from more than 400 different recipes. Open Monday - Sunday 11 am - 5 pm.


La Tela Pizzeria (T.843.768.1951) - La Tela Pizzeria is a family-owned and operated Neapolitan style pizzeria offering wood-fired pizza, fresh pasta, freshly baked bread, grinders, espresso, and desserts made on the premises. Open Tues - Sat 11 am - 3 pm, 5 - 9 pm.

The Station Deli (T.843.768.4567) - The Station at Freshfields gourmet deli brings convenience to Island guests, Kiawah, Seabrook, and Johns Island areas. Open daily 6:30 am - 9 pm.

Vincent's Drug Store & Soda Fountain (T.843.243.0007) - Vincent's is an old-time soda fountain offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and ice cream. Start your day with a traditional eggs and bacon breakfast, stop back for a hand-pattied hamburger with a delicious shake. If you are looking for a lighter flair, enjoy one of the in-house-made chicken, egg, or tuna salads. Open M -F 11 am - 4 pm, Sat - Sun noon - 4 pm (ice cream only).

Cantina 76 (T.843.737.4607) - Cantina 76 is a lively, independently-owned restaurant and bar that specializes in Mexican-inspired cuisine and hand-crafted margaritas, providing a fast yet satisfying dining experience in a casual, upbeat atmosphere that encourages guests to hang out before, during, and after dining.
