Fleming Charity 2020
Sea Islands Blessing Basket
This year again, the charitable beneficiary of the Fleming Tournament is the Sea Islands Blessing Basket, a Sea Islands Hunger Awareness Foundation (SIHAF), A 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization mission. SIHAF supports charitable food-related that feed the hungry and provide drinkable well water to those who do not have fresh water on Wadamalaw and Johns Island. SIHAF is 100% volunteer operated and distributes 98% of the money raised to families in need. Once a month, the Sea Islands Blessing Basket distributes food to approximately 700 residents of Johns Island and Wadamalaw whose income is below the poverty level. The food provided is enough for seven meals.
